LumiAR — Privacy Policy

App: LumiAR (com.lumigrade.lumiar) · Developer: Lumigrade · Effective: 4 July 2026

Summary

LumiAR does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted to us.

Camera

LumiAR is an augmented-reality app: the camera image is used solely to display the real world behind virtual content and to detect surfaces for placement. Camera frames are processed on your device in real time; they are never stored or transmitted anywhere, except as part of a screen recording you explicitly start (see below).

Microphone and screen recording

The microphone is used only while you actively record a video with the in-app record button, so your voice and surroundings can be part of the clip. The finished video is saved only to your device's gallery (Movies/LumiAR). It is never uploaded or shared by the app; you control and can delete these recordings at any time through your gallery or file manager. Denying the microphone permission still allows silent recordings.

Network use

The app downloads its content catalog, volumetric sequences, and thumbnails from our content delivery network (Cloudflare R2). Like any internet request, these downloads expose your IP address and standard request metadata to the CDN for the purpose of delivering content and protecting the service. We do not use this information to identify you, and the app sends no other data.

Data retention and deletion

We retain no user data, so there is nothing for us to delete. Videos you record remain on your device under your control.

Children

LumiAR is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version of the app changes any of the above (for example, adding accounts or analytics), this policy will be updated at this URL before that version is released.
